Bacheiddon Log Cabin Reviews

Amazing cabin in an even better location. It exceeded every expectation that I had. Already booked to go back we loved it that much. It genuinely couldn't have been better and the owners are such lovely people. Perfect.
We had the BEST time here, absolute bliss and chilled vibes. 360 mountain views, super clean and modern hot tub, lovely fireplace, beds are so comfy. I have already messaged the owner to let them know we will be back in the new year. If you are thinking of booking, just do it!
We stayed at Bacheiddon log cabin October 2025, and we couldnt be more happier with our stay. The cabin was stunning, it was spotless and had basic amenities provided. The hot tub was lovely, probably the best weve been in at a log cabin break. The cabin is private, in a lovely location, the views are spectacular. We highly recommend booking and we will definitely be booking again. The only thing we found was that the cabin was really warm, and we couldnt work out how to turn the temperature down, maybe if there was some information in the book on how to do this, it could be helpful for others. However this didnt impact our stay and is just an observation. Thanks for an amazing weekend!
We had a lovely week at Bacheiddon Log Cabin. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was very relaxing and positioned to take in the views! Thank you to Bethan the owner, who was always available if needed, and has provided a beautiful holiday home. Would highly recommend and definitely return

What a property! It was sparkling clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The property was better than imagined we loved having the hot tub, log burner and also a full bathroom and fully kitted out kitchen. The prosecco and filter coffee were also an amazing bonus. We come to wales every year and this was by far our favourite place. We also think we have found where we want our honeymoon staycation after our wedding later on this year. Lots of amazing walks nearby that our 4 legged friend loved. Couldnt recommend this enough.
This cabin is everything you could want and need and more. The views are spectacular, especially from the hot tub. We have stayed in lots of cabin and huts etc and this is by far our favourite. It's so clean, warm, comfy and anything you may think you need has already been thought of and is ready for you at the cabin. 1010 we would recommend! Thank you.

The bed was super comfy and the log fire was comforting when it became chilly . Would certainly recommend this gorgeous cabin and would return in a heart beat . The cabin was just beautiful. It was clean, welcoming and had everything we required. The extra touches were lovely too like the log burner was laid ready to light and the owners had taken every opportunity to make the cabin 5 star We will be returning to this wonderful log cabin as we are already missing the fantastic views.
Alistair
Lovely property. Great to escape!
This was our second stay in this fab lodge in the most amazing setting. Complete privacy for a lovely chilled week, with spectacular views. It was wonderful to open the curtains in the morning to the beautiful rolling hills with the sheep grazing a few feet away. The hot tub was very clean and wellmaintained and we had the perfect weather to make the most of it. The owner is handson, and a phone call away if needed, but we really couldnt fault anything. We had an amazing time, and cant wait to return. Thank you Bethan, we hope to see you again soon!
Found the whole experience from lounging to cooking sleeping to time in the hot tub. . absolutely Fabulous setting and location to other popular sights
An outstanding property in a wonderful setting! Well worth a visit! We have been to a number of log cabins and this was definitely the best!

Absolutely stunning one off the best log cabins we stayed in 100 going back again
Fantastic stay. It had all we wanted for a few nights getaway. The owners were very helpful and supportive as well. Highly recommended.
Fantastic holiday, really quiet and relaxing. Very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub with stunning views of the valley. We also loved watching the sheep being rounded up with great skill and the calves in the field at the end of the drive. Some being hand fed. We would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone that wanted a full relaxing holiday.
Beautiful log cabin with spectacular views. Four of us plus doggie had a fab short break. I was pleasantly surprised that little extras were provided such as hand wash, kitchen roll, cleaning up items, as Ive stayed in plenty of places where there is nothing at all. In fact there was complimentary Prosecco and coffee, which was a lovely touch. Beds were extremely comfy and it was lovely and clean. We enjoyed it so much weve already booked to return later in the year for my daughters 30th.
Frances
Beautiful log cabin finished to a high standard. Very clean and welcoming. Stunning views of the mountains. Prosecco was a nice touch! Will definitely book again.

Sheldon
What a lovely and beautiful place to stay. Everything you need is in the cabin. It was lovely and quiet and we really enjoyed our time there.
Beautiful property, thoughtfully kitted out. Amazing views.
Richard
Wow. Everything about this log cabin was just phenomenal. The location, the views, the cabin itself, the cleanliness, the hot tub, the scent of timber as you walk through the door, the wildlife, the decor... I could keep going! I was hesitant about booking this log cabin, it's nearly double our usual price range. But having experienced just a short weekend here which was sadly cut short by a day I can honestly say it was worth EVERY penny, and then some! You can tell the owners take immense pride in this cabin... Thank you so much for sharing it with us, we'll definitely be returning soon!
Beautiful cabin located in magnificent countryside. Would love to revisit again in the summer months hopefully stormfree.
Tracey
Absolutely stunning. Loved our week stay there. So relaxing and cosy. Above and beyond excellent.
Our recent stay at Bacheiddon Log Cabin in Wales was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every aspect of our experience was simply impeccable. First and foremost, our host Bethan deserves a special mention. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Bethan went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Her passion for ensuring guests have a fantastic experience was evident in every detail. The cabin itself was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cosy atmosphere created by the log walls and tasteful decor made us feel like we had stepped into a tranquil haven. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in its maintenance was apparent. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful hot tub. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Wales, soaking in the hot tub was a rejuvenating experience, especially after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The tub was wellmaintained, and the serene ambience elevated the experience to a whole new level. Communication with Bethan was seamless from the moment we booked until we checked out. Her prompt responses and willingness to assist with any queries or requests were greatly appreciated. It's evident that she takes pride in ensuring her guests have a stressfree and enjoyable stay. The location of Bacheiddon Log Cabin is a rare find. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views, the cabin provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a relaxing break with friends, this location caters to all. In conclusion, our stay at Bacheiddon Log Cabin was a delightful escape that exceeded our expectations. The combination of a welcoming host, charming cabin, inviting hot tub, and breathtaking surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Bacheiddon Log Cabin to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in the heart of Wales. Our sincere thanks to Bethan for making our stay so special we look forward to returning to this idyllic retreat in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The cabin itself is really well equipped. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have the hot tub ready to use at check in time. We were a little disappointed to have to wait until 9pm
Catherine
This was a perfect getaway for us, such a beautiful and peaceful location. The lodge had everything we needed and the lovely Bethan was at the end of a phone. The views from the hot tub were just amazing! There was lots to do within a 30 minute drive beaches, forests and even local gin! Thank you!
