Cae Berllan Reviews

Denise
I have stayed in numerous cottages and this is one of the best. Perfect safe garden for fur babies, mine constantly had the zoomies lol. Very comfortable and homely, definitely recommend !!!!
A brilliant stay and lovely cottage, we had a great time. Great set up and a well stocked kitchen area. The only criticism would be the internet speed as it is very low and we struggled to stream movies.
Beautiful property on gorgeous grounds. Had a fantastic fortnight with my mum and my dog. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Lorraine
Second visit and really enjoyed staying there.
Richard
A wonderful cottage in a beautiful area of the county. A perfect place to explore the Llyn Peninsula. Wonderfully equipped, this cottage has more than you need for your holiday. Lovely and quiet yet only a short drive from several wonderful beaches.
Yvette
What a lovely week we had at this beautiful cottage. Very clean and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped too with cooking equipment and a large fridge freezer which came in handy seeing as we were a family of 5 adults and 2 children. We were lucky to have amazing weather for our stay, so had a few days out to Whistling sands and Abersoch beaches. We also took a small paddling pool for my granddaughters aged 4 and 18months and set it up.in the garden. Hot and cold outdoor taps to fill it so no running inside to boil kettles to warm it up. They absolutely loved looking and talking to the sheep in the field at the back of the garden. Once the children were in bed, that was our time to then relax in the hot tub. We also took advantage of playing some of the numerous games that were available in the property. Id definitely recommend this cottage and will certainly be booking here again in the near future .
The house was really comfortable especially the sofa and well equipped with everything you need. It was also in a great location for our favourite beaches in the area Llanbedrog and Tudweiliog. The garden space was also great for dining, relaxing and for the dogs to run around.
This property is out of this world. The bungalow is set in beautiful surroundings and has everything you need. The owner has really invested the time to turn this into a welcoming home with all the additional features of the property. We had a few niggles and contacted the owner who was quick to resolve. All in all a fantastic holiday and we are already planning our next holiday back as my youngest dog is really missing the neighbaaaars!
Pleasantly supprised when we arrived at Cae Berllan. It was beautiful and clean. Plenty of room and wonderful well kept gardens. Hot tub was fantastic and they left a bottle of wine for us on arrival. Will definitely go back. Lola our Lab thoroughly enjoyed her stay.
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, spacious and peaceful cottage. The garden was perfect for our dog, and the little touches to make him feel ar home were much appreciated. Although there is a working farm next door, the cottage is only overlooked by the sheep and as we were there for Easter, it was lovely to see the lambs too. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking equipment. My only slight niggle was that the hot tub was off when we arrived and didn't therefore reach temperature until the following day it would have been nice to use it after a long journey. But otherwise, a lovely stay and we would definitely return.
Rebecca
This is such a lovely holiday home! We have visited several times and always enjoy our stay. It has everything needed and the bbq was a welcome addition this year, as we had glorious sunshine for the whole week! Cant fault this home from home!
Robert
Lovely bungalow set in rural yet accessible position. Perfect Dark Sky Area if you like looking at the stars. We loved the walks around the local lanes and pathways and, of course, the beaches at Llanbedrig and Abersoch. The Hot Tub is a bonus, but there is often a sharp wind gusting around so you need to be quick to get back inside the property after using it
Pauline
Gorgeous location and property. Everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Can highly recommend. And we were staying during Storm Eowyn
Michelle
We had a lovely relaxing new year's break at Cae Berllan, the surroundings are beautiful. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the cottage had everything we needed. It's also well equipped for dogs with a crate, blanket and even some little biscuits. Lovely beaches around too, we had some nice walks.
Fabulous bungalow in a lovely setting. Very clean and very well presented. The beds were very comfortable and a tranquil location led to a good night's sleep for all. We regularly rent holiday homes and this is one of the best that we have stayed at. Would thoroughly recommend it. Two minor niggles 1. More towels are required. One towel per person for both showering and using the hot tub is insufficient and trying to dry them in changeable weather was challenging. 2 Maintenance of the hot tub. We own our own hot tub and maintain it ourselves so we know what we are doing. However, relying on guests to maintain it is fraught with danger. Fortunately, neither of these issues caused us any major problems and would happily return.
Wonderful property in peaceful rural location. The best equipped property we have stayed in. The cottage was very clean and comfortable a real home from home. Lovely garden with patio furniture and great views and very secure for our dog. We had a really relaxing holiday and enjoyed the peace and quiet and dark skies. The property is in a great location for all parts of the Llyn Peninsula. There is a great bakery in Aberdaron and a very well stocked Spar in Nefyn. Great dogfriendly beaches at Traeth Penllech and Porth Neigwl. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
Rachel
A real home from home. Very nicely decorated and had everything to make our stay comfortable. The garden and the hot tub are a bonus. We had beautiful weather which made sitting in the garden more enjoyable. This is definitely a place we will be back to as we only live in Conwy. If your looking for peace and quite but only a short drive from some beautiful Welsh spot then this is the place for you
Another wonderful stay, clean, comfortable and a great location.
Ronald
Enjoyed our stay, clean and well presented cottage with everything you could need. We didn't have the best of weather, but the hot tub was a bonus as were the lambs in the field. Well positioned to explore the area. We would hope to return when perhaps the weather would be better.
Beautiful property and stay. Has everything you need very clean. Hot tub favmb and fitepit as was chilly so was lovely to be warm outside. 510 min drive to beach and local spa if need to pick anything up. June was at hand as got lost in dark. Thank you june we will be back im sure
Excellent accommodation with all mod cons, great location with scenic views, clean, spacious and fantastic hot tub, would highly recommend.
Brenda
Superb home from home, all you could want and more. Immaculate throughout. Gorgeous garden surrounded by fields, pheasants and a Barn owl came to visit. Hot tub brilliant. Plenty of walks around. Will definitely be back. Our 2 labradors thoroughly enjoyed it as much as us. Big thankyou x
Rebecca
Really lovely home from home. Weve stayed several times now and are always really happy there. Super clean and well equipped. Excellent location too!
Cae Berllan is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in and one of the best locations to enjoy a holiday break.
Felicity
The house we stayed in was amazing and views were beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
Thomas
The property was very clean and well maintained with all the essentials that you would need. Our dog loved exploring the enclosed secure garden whilst we enjoyed the hot tub. If the owner was considering improvements I would suggest the provision of some robes for use with the hot tub would add to the experience.
Lesley
Our second visit to Cae Berllan , everything was just as perfect and chilled as the last , We spent every day relaxing in the lovely garden and the dogs made themselves at home again! . We will be back again next year I am sure!
Ashley
We absolutely loved our week here. The house & location is absolutely perfect. Would like to come again next year
Fantastic home from home. Everything you need or could think of. Perfect in everyway!!!
Louise e
Fab place. Very peaceful. Lovely bottle of wine when we arrived which was a lovely surprise. Nothing required all provided even dog treats. Leads etc. Toys. Great enclosed garden. Lovely views. Very comfortable and well laid out. Only thing that was a slight problem was the shower. 5 women. Even though we did not use any other water while showering it kept running very hot and then cold. Not much pressure.
Debbie
We had a fabulous stay in this wonderful cottage. What a beautiful location in easy reach of beautiful beaches & restaurants. The cottage has everything you need and the hot tub is a superb addition. our dogs loved the enclosed garden Thank you for a great Easter weekend stay x
Domini
Amazing place! Stunning surroundings, and possibly the most beautiful sunrises Ive seen. The cottage is amazingly well stocked, a very big comfy sofa and lets not forget the hot tub. If I had one criteria? It was that the double beds were a bit too small for us. But that could be because were not the smallest. I would still give this place a 1010!
Lovely property. Felt really cosy but with plenty of space for 5 of us and the dog! Cottage really well equipped everything you need for your holiday. Garden was excellent size and hot tub was a welcomed bonus. Great location with gorgeous beach's close by.
Cannot identify anything overly negative about Cae Berllan as we had a great time in a really well equipped property all four of us thought the same. One minor negative is the shower as it was either really hot or really cold and to be honest was a bit underpowered. Some easily accessible instructions on dishwasher settings might help also we did a lot of washing up by hand. Cooking facilities and utensils were more than adequate for what we cooked and we did do some cooking. Its in a great spot if you want a bit of peace and its only a short walk into nearby towns some decent places to visit locally too. We made use of the Jacuzzi which was lovely clean and warm. This place would be great in winter or summer and I would definitely consider a return trip. Beds are comfortable as is the front room and the general layout of the building ensures a really effective space for socialising. Loved the little dogs that popped in to see us too. We walked into Abersoch about 3.8km as crow flies.
Lovely property with lovely views, has everything you need for a perfect holiday.
George
Beautiful holiday home, with all the gadgets you need. The decor was well thought out with a nautical theme throughout . A most pleasant holiday home from home
Stephen
Modern Bungalow in a lovely part of Wales, we really enjoyed our stay, highly ... Modern Bungalow in a lovely part of Wales, we really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended and hot tub is a good addition 5 star
We loved our stay at Cae Berllan, from the amazing views to the size of the property and grounds. It was also very clean throughout and had everything you could think of. Within close proximity of both Abersoch and Pwllheli and surrounding areas. Ideal for us and our 3 young boys. We would definitely have no problem in recommending it to anyone and cant wait to stop here again.
Stephen
Everything inside and outside of the bungalow was ideal especially the new hot tub. Barney our poodle loved the large area of lawn to run around in.This is definitely the best property that we have stayed in, by far. Pam and Steve Lytham Lancs.
Lesley
A fantastic property , everything needed had been provided for and all 5 star . We especially loved the garden and view and cant wait to return!
