Bryn Moelyn Cottage Reviews

Everything was absolutely perfect down to every last detail. Such a peaceful and cozy place to have spent our long weekend. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so very much! <3
Rachel
This is a lovely house. We only stayed for three nights but I can imagine staying here for longer. The hosts were kind enough to leave eggs, milk and other helpful things. The downstairs had heated flooring which was lovely and the jacuzzi really made it. Having access to sky movies was a nice touch. 1010

Lovely quiet cottage with easy access to beaches. Great place to relax and recharge.
We had a very warm welcome on arrival by Chris who then showed us around the cottage. The little extras provided flowers, Prosecco, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a very nice touch. Our dog was made to feel very welcome too with dog blankets, towels and treats. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and felt like home. The hot tub was amazing and we had a lovely relaxing week away.
Bryn Moelyn was one of the most luxurious and best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. Everything had been thought of for our comfort and ease in this beautifully renovated cottage. We were even welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and cookies for us and fluffy dog blankets, towels and treats for our dog. Having the hot tub to lie back and listen to the birdsong, or gaze at the stars was an added treat. A great location to explore this stunning bit of coastline and Chris and Ally, the hosts, could not have been more helpful or welcoming.

This is a beautiful property. Everything is to a high standard and the owners are friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, peaceful and just a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We can't fault anything, it completely lived up to the description and photos. We came with our dogs and they were made to feel welcome with treats, dog throws, towels etc provided. Tea, coffee milk and biscuits were provided as well as the bathrooms being stocked in case anything had been forgotten. We loved the map in the hallway which showed our location and things to do. A well as all the local information they provided for things to do, restaurants etc. Spending an evening looking at the stars in the hot tub is a great way to end the day after climbing the local mountains. A lot of time and effort has been put in to this place by the owners. We can't wait to come back.
This is a lovely little cottage ideal for 2 or 4 people for a mini break. Beautifully refurbished and well appointed. The owners who live on site are extremely helpful and friendly
Perfect cottage in a beautiful location. The house has been renovated recently so feels brand new but has real character. Chris and Ali made us feel so welcome! They have thought of everything you might need for a short stay plus the hot tub which was amazing. Beds are comfy. Power showers are great. Lovely beaches and fantastic walks right on your doorstep. We had a wonderful time the last week in August and the weather was perfect. It is dog friendly too!
Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break, set in peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Friendly owners that are more than happy to offer advice on places , pubs and restaurants in the local area. Bbq and hot tub were a great addition after long days out walking the dog in the mountains and on the beaches . Would highly recommend to anyone looking for first class accommodation in a central location for all the llyn peninsula and Snowdonia have to offer. Many thanks to owners Chris and Alison.

A great holiday in a beautiful part of Wales in a very cosy, relaxing and restful cottage. The cottage had everything we needed including a hot tub which was great for relaxing in each evening after a day of exploring and walking. A perfect end to each day just sat in the hot tub listening to the birds singingbliss.
Cottage was so beautiful Clean and tidy Very comfortable couldnt have asked for anything more. Owners on hand if we needed anything but they didnt bother us which was great. Hot tub nice and clean and lovely to relax after a nice long walk.

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful cottage, which is situated in a peaceful situation yet easily accessible to all the Llyn Peninsula has to offer. Chris and Alison are excellent hosts, who have converted an old derelict cottage into a traditional home but with all modern comforts. Just the place to come for rest and recuperation,
Fabulous holiday cottage. Super clean with EVERYTHING you would need. Apart from personal items and food fabulous hot tubBBQ area and 10 minutes drive to many of the beaches in the area. If you wanted more action, then expect to drive around an hour. Lovely week away, thank you.
Fabulous cottage, and a great location to explore the peninsula. Hosts are excellent and provided lots of little extras that made the holiday so special. We will be back sometime in the future!
Bryn Moelyn cottage was great, could have stayed longer. the owners were lovely people, very helpful. The Hot tub was enjoyed. many lovely beaches and coastal villages within 25 mins.
The cottage made an excellent base for our stay in N Wales. It has been restored to a very high standard and is very comfortable and clean. It's far enough from the road to be very quiet, yet near enough to access the surrounding areas with ease. We would happily stay there again.
Damien
Honestly one of the best places Ive ever stayed! The location was absolutely amazing, and the hosts were so welcoming and kind. The cottage itself is stunningbeautifully maintained and full of charm. I cant wait to return next year with my little family to make even more special memories. I truly cant recommend it enough!
I loved everything about this cottage and the warm welcome we received. My difficulty has been with contacting Sykes booking. Having booked the cottage we decided belatedly to extend the visit by 1 day but the website would not support this and trying to simply contact you to extend the visit was really difficult.
What an amazing property. We had a really peaceful and relaxing stay in Bryn Moelyn. The property, it's location and the owners were just wonderful.
Rowland

One of the best self catering properties we have stayed in. We were made so welcome by our hosts, who were very helpful with information about the property and the local area, places to visit. Some lovely personalised extras, eg fresh cut flowers, wine, milk, eggs. A perfect week in a fabulous holiday home.
A lovely property in every way. It was very clean, very comfortable and has everything you need to make it a special stay. The hosts, Chris and Alison were friendly and welcoming. They were available at all times without being intrusive. We highly recommend Bryn Moelyn Cottage.
Sharon

Robert
The hosts were fab, the cottage is superb, and the location fantastic. I would definitely recommend people stay here!
Ronnie
Chris and Alison thought of everything with this property which has only recently been completely rebuilt to a very high standard and made it a perfect base to ensure short journeys to all of the Llyn Peninsular. Chris and Alison are the prefect hosts, with lots of local information and knowledge and available if you need anything. The property itself is fantastic, very comfortable, wellappointed with all the amenities for cooking etc. that you could wish for, spotlessly clean. A true home from home. In a secluded peaceful location. To top it all off a lovely patio area and hot tub to soak aching muscles or relax on a cold day. We absolutely loved it and will book again.
A beautiful house, fully equipped with everything you could need to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Thank you for having us!
What a gem of a find . The cottage was renovated to a high specification . Chris & Alison and dogs were very welcoming and happy to help with anything . We really enjoyed our stay , and highly recommend this cottage . The location was perfect for accessing coastal resorts on the Lynn Penisula and Alison and Chris have made this so easy to find with a pinpointed map and folders with lots of places to visit . We will definitely revisit
Anthony
A comfortable and well equipped cottage, which is a credit to owners Chris and Alison. Set in a tranquil situation but close to everything the Llyn Peninsula has to offer. After walking all day on the beautiful coast path and on the nearby beaches you can recover in the excellent hot tub, under the powerful showers and on the comfortable beds. A real home from home for a refreshing break.
Cottage renovated to high standard with many interesting features, which made it very pleasant to be in, and it was good to read about the renovation process in the book provided. Most of what was provided was to a high standard, and a very comfortable base and location to explore the area. Owner was very responsive to all our queries both prior to, during and after our stay. Thank you. specific comments for our stay its a pity that there are no immediate walks which can be accessed without a car. Nice to be able to walk around the grounds though. Kitchen worked fine for us, but the kitchen knives were quite blunt for chopping, so better knives would be worth getting. We found the dining and living room space quite cramped together, so it was often a squeeze manouvering between dining chairs living room furniture when moving between these two spaces. Not sure if anything can be done to improve this.
My wife and I had a really nice week in Bryn Moelyn Cottage in May. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, but still retains its character. The facilities are excellent. It's located in a very private and scenic location and is within half an hour of just about anywhere on the Llyn Peninsula, including some lovely beaches. We enjoyed walking large stretches of the coastal paths, where we saw plenty of wildlife. We would highly recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.
An expertly restored cottage that has overcome so many hurdles to emerge from the ashes of a derelict building. The owners, Chris and Alison have put so much time, effort and funds into this for our benefit. Yes, we pay for the privilege of spending time in the cottage, but it's worth every penny! The upsidedown arrangement works beautifully, with the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen, intelligently laid out. The French doors off the kitchen onto the private decking with the generously sized hot tub and lower level seating with gas BBQ a courtyard feel. No expense spared here and the little touches, throughout the property, give you a sense that the owners know those extras will be well received. Super, sleep inducing beds, comfortable leather sofas with throws, great log burner and tv with all the sky things to entertain if you've exhausted the games in the bookshelves. The property is positioned perfectly to explore all areas of the peninsula. Enjoy! We did.
Brilliant stay, house was perfect, beautiful rooms, gorgeous bath, heaven for me. Shaheen loved the kitchen,I loved the woodburner, and we all loved the hot tub. This is how a break should be,no stress or hassle.Beautiful location, handy for various days out,and always lovely to come back to.In all respects the perfect holiday accommodation, great house, perfect hosts, well done Chris and Ally.
Michelle

Hot tub is the icing on the cake and we would not hesitate to return. Good base for exploring North Wales and plenty of local information to hand including maps and guides. The cottage has been recently renovated to an excellent standard and wants for nothing. Thank you for making our week so enjoyable.
