Buttercup Reviews

Shirley
Very clean everywhere smelt lovely too. The pods are nicely furnished. The little extra touches like a few tea bagscoffeesugar a pint of milk already there was nice as after a long journey you could have a cuppa before unloading everything, also the soap towels and washingup bits included. The views were beautiful. The bed was okthats good for me as I have sore joints mattress is on the firmer side but different pillows so should get it right i took my own i alway do. We stayed temperature was in its 30s and they came round with a fan to help. We asked them to lower the temp in hot tub so we cooled off in there it was fab and serviced every day. Dogs loved it it was terrier safe enclosed garden so they had lots of safe freedom to do as they wished. Lovely friendly staff Fantastic place to stay will definitely be going back. So relaxing Thank you

We had a lovely stay arrived yo a very clean lodge smelt lovely hot tub all warmed and ticking over ready to use. Tea coffee and milk there for arrival making it a nice touch after 4 hour drive from devon. Hot tub was maintained over are stay. The dog loved the room he had in the enclosed garden and our son enjoyed the play park rite out the front of lodge we could chill bit still keep a eye on him. A grate experience relaxing and clean we enjoyed are stay. There are pubs near by and small convince shops but bear in mind it is remote and you will need to drive to get to attractions this had no affect on are stay as we relaxed and relax we certainly did
Excellent weekend away, clean spacious perfect atmosphere to enjoy a quiet break.

What a fabulous place to stay. Plenty of room for us and the 2 dogs cocker spaniel and GSP cross to give you an idea of size. The kitchen has everything you need and theres a fire pit with an honesty shop that sells wood and disposable BBQs if you have better weather than us! The properties are staggered in such a way you dont feel overlooked and when the bushes have matured there will be an even greater sense of privacy. The hot tub was great especially with the rain and well maintained throughout the visit. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The garden is a great size for the dogs to run around in. The fencing is small dog proof but only about 3ft high. There are places where dogs can see each other so if your dogs arent keen on other dogs you could throw a towel over the gate to block their view. The only things we missed were a broom to sweep outside the door with the dogs dragging everything in, a mat to put the dog water bowl on and a shelf in the shower, otherwise perfect. We would come back again.
This was our third visit and again we had an absolutely wonderful family holiday making lots of precious memories. The accommodation is perfect providing everything required just always sad when its time to leave thank you again
We had a lovely stay at Buttercup. It was a much needed relaxing weekend for us both and we were so pleased with the facilities. The lodge is located in a peaceful setting and we left on the Monday feeling so relaxed. The hot tub was clean and we payed extra for the luxury logs package and it was worth it to enjoy the fire in the cold nights. We couldnt fault it, we will definitely be back!
Tracey
The pod was very well maintained and great value, couldnt have asked for more. If anything they may wish to publicise the park facilities and goal posts which were an added bonus
We were so pleased with our pod. Very high end. Everything you need for kitchen. Very comfortable stay very impressed. Excellent garden all fenced off so dogs could not escape. Was a perfect holiday. Was a lovely gesture with teacoffeesugar milk Was so thoughtful. Will definitely be back. A wonderful stay.

We stayed Monday to Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday they were digging right outside of the property. We were not told this was going to happened or anything from the owner not even to apologise for the disruption to our holiday. With the noise from this it meant we couldnt enjoy the view or garden as we have 2 small children it did ruin the holiday for us, will not be recommending
Immaculately clean, warm, cozy pod. Fabulous setting with secure garden for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings to enjoy the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning in the future.
Beautiful! Id love to come again, just the experience was ruined by my friend and there husband with a car accident so cut my visit short however the lodge and the destination were the best Id recommend anyone go, I will be returning without them next time and will hopefully fully enjoy the experience but thank you so so much to the lovely staff who helped lift the car off the rocks with there tractor, absolutely amazing gentlemen so thank you so so much for your kindness and help! I dont know what we would have done without you both. Thank you all so much!
This is our second visit to Buttercup. We absolutely fell in love with the place so had to return. Buttercup is a beautiful place and has everything to offer. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and the hot tub is incredible. This is our first holiday as being dog owners and our puppy had a fabulous time with the large and enclosed garden area. As a family it is the perfect getaway to relax and take a time out. Highly recommend and hope to return soon to make more precious memories
Superb accommodation. Very nicely presented, very comfortable beds. Location is very peaceful.
Kimberley
Lovely place to stay, views are beautiful and the pod was stunning. Finished to such a high standard and very clean. Definitely would come back.
We had an absolutely amazing holiday! It was wonderful, magical, beautiful and we had a fabulous time as a family of 5. The accommodation was stunning and provided everything we required and more! It worked really well as our first holiday for the five of us and our little girl had her first birthday whilst we were there. The hot tub was fabulous and easy to use and we spent most of our time at our holiday home. It was amazing and we really could call it home sad to leave and we will cherish our precious memories made. Definitely would recommend and hope to come back soon! Thank you so much! 1010
