Mountain View Lodge Reviews

An extremely peaceful setting which we would fully recommend. Everything you need but a welcome sheet would be useful as we struggled to find all the switches. The shower was at first difficult to get to the correct temperature is was hot very hot or scalding..took us three days to get it ideal . Otherwise a fantastic Lodge .
Richard

Michelle
Absolutely spotless. Even the hot tub was well maintained and so relaxing after a day out exploring. The lodge is well equipped. Fresh eggs, milk, Welsh cakes and fresh flowers on arrival. Peaceful location. Just the sound of birds and cows. Perfect base to explore Pembrokeshire, Tenby about 25 mins. St Davids about 1hr. The owner is lovely and friendly. Will be rebooking soon again for this beautiful special place. Many thanks!

Kathryn
The Lodge is very comfortable indeed and is well equipped. It was very clean indeed and the windows were almost sparkling! It was lovely and quiet which was just what we needed. We really appreciated the eggs, fresh flowers, Welsh Cakes and milk left for us. Thank you.
A lovely lodge. Very comfortable and beautifully clean. Private with good views and the hot tub a great bonus. We hope to stay again. Couldn't fault it.
Alan was the ideal host. Nothing was too much trouble friendly, welcoming and informative. Highly recommend.
Hannah
The lodge is spotless and clean, beautiful and very peaceful surroundings, really good size for a family of 4, lovely towels provided, comfortable beds, lovely extra touch with the fresh eggs, milk, and Welsh cakes on arrival. The hot tub was nice but think itd be even better if we could see the lovely views from there. We couldve done with some instructions for using the hot tub, the oven, and because we were quite unlucky with weather, we couldve done with the heating on to dry things but we couldnt work out how to use it. The owners are very pleasant and helped quickly when we asked for more bedding and fixed the smoke alarm when this was beeping. So if wed asked for instructions Im sure wed have been given the information, but maybe just adding the information for people to look up themselves would be easier. I personally would prefer that rather than asking lots of questions at different times! Overall a lovely break even with bad weather most days, we enjoyed discovering all the lovely beaches and towns nearby. We particularly enjoyed Tenby, Folly Farm, Saundersfoot, Narberth, and went a bit further afield to the National Show Caves in Swansea this was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here in this lovely part of Wales, thank you!
The mountain lodge was amazing such a lovely place. The lodge was spacious with plenty of privacy. Alan greeted us upon arrival making us feel at ease and very welcome. Baxter the dog was a lovely little visitor too. Will definitely be back an amazing holiday.

Lovely scenary and the caravan was wonderfully comfortable with all the ammenities. We thought the hot tub struggled to get above 36 C so it led to it feeling a little cold at times. Otherwise had a wonderful time.
Fantastic lodge, fully equipped kitchen, spacious open plan diningliving area. Lovely hot tub. Owners very helpful, many thanks for the nice welcome Welsh cakes and eggs! We would love to come back. Around 1530 min drive to the beautiful dogs friendly beaches. Wonderful fully enclosed garden, safe for pets and kids! Real gem for someone who loves tranquility and quietness.
