This place was amazing beautiful little cottage it's the perfect location as it ... This place was amazing beautiful little cottage it's the perfect location as it bang in the middle of everything so no wheres to much of a drive I'll definitely be booking again
We were very happy with the accommodation and the chocolates! and the location for us was perfect. We love Cei Bach and Aberaron! Having the enclosed garden to sniff, was a real plus and much appreciated. We will definitely be back. Anna,Dominic and Patsy Hagley, Worcestershire Future suggestion a very minor point! A hedgerow at the front of the property would allow more privacy from the road when sitting in the livingroom sitting outside in the summer.
Sharon
Cottage was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Our dog enjoyed the secure front garden and the hot tub was great out back. Glyn Cottage exceeded our expectations, we didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend!
Sandra
The accommodation was lovely, very clean. The biggest downside was the poor lighting in the property, which seemed at odds with everything else. The kitchendiner had only two single lights, which made preparing meals very difficult. On the other hand the light in the sitting room was so bright it was next to impossible to use in the evening. Sitting room lighting easily remedied with a couple of uprights or a dimmer switch. Kitchen lighting needs bit more work, but single battery operated strip lights under the cupboards would be a good start.
Lovely owners! Amazingly equipped cottage with every single thing you would need even Sky television for evening chill out after a busy day. Slept well, enjoyed the hot tub and were happy with the cleanliness and moderness of the cottage. It is placed within short distances of Aberaeron, Llanrhystud, New Quay, Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge. Seeing the red kites in flight as well is a must ! We have booked again for next year and will look forward to it ! Thank you so much for a no problem, relaxing stay.

Absolutely Perfect Stay. Highly Recommend! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation. The house was spotlessly clean and honestly looked even better in person than in the photos, which is saying something! A lovely surprise on arrival was a welcome bottle of wine and some chocolates such a thoughtful touch that really made us feel instantly at home. The house was also really wellequipped with handy extras like washing tablets and other essentials, which is a lifesaver if you happen to forget anything. The jacuzzi was an absolute highlight, spotless, warm, and relaxing, with a great cover that made it easy to enjoy regardless of the weather. It was also incredibly dogfriendly, which we really appreciated. The front garden was very securely enclosed, giving us peace of mind. And the location Just stunning. A beautiful 1015 minute walk took us to a peaceful pebble beach that felt like a hidden gem. We would absolutely stay again everything was perfect.
Debbie
Lovely spacious cottage really well equipped. Very clean. Appreciated all the quality furniture kitchen accessories and supplies of cleaning products and dog treats. My mum found bed by window in twin room a bit lumpy so switched to other one and a lock on the bathroom door would be welcomed by some. Village and pub were v friendly and so was the lovely farmer who owned the ram at the end of the garden. Hot tub was great, though amazingly for Wales! weather was too hot to use first couple of days!! The road out the front is pretty busy, but theres nothing that can be done about that and the advantages are you are in a village with shop, pub, chip shop tasty and good value and good location between Aberystwyth and Newquay. Enclosed garden for dog was perfect. All enjoyed.
We have just got back from a great week's stay at Glyn Cottage. The bungalow is well maintained and clean. The hot tub is a bonus. The village has a good pub, shop, butcher and fish & chip shop. We would definitely like to stay here again.
The cottage was good clean as was the hot tub All the facilities you need on ... The cottage was good clean as was the hot tub All the facilities you need on holiday The only complaint would be the garden needs some attention having dogs not easy to pick up after them and not idea for sitting out
The cottage was lovely so well equipped, everything you needed was provided. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a great week walking the coast path and having a bus stop just outside the cottage was great for getting to the start of each day.
This is our second stay at Glyn cottage and we are going to book again. Paula has everything there that anyone could need. Its a wonderful location. Easy walking distance to local shop, pup and chippy. The buses are every hour and right outside the drive. This made it superb for my parents 85&88 to travel out every day on heir own. The coastal path is a 5 min walk down the side of premier to the beach. Huge pebbles, so not easy to walk on, but the path gives you beautiful views of the whole coast. Gorgeous! Just a warning though. A lot of the longer walks along the coast are very steep, so you need to be used to it. Not suitable if you dont like steps. We walked for miles each way or drove down coast to walk a different part. The weather was glorious and having the covered jacuzzi to sink into every night with a glass of something cool was heaven. Highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage Comfortable bed Hot tub was lovely and warm White swan pub ... Lovely cottage Comfortable bed Hot tub was lovely and warm White swan pub great food, 2 min walk away Bus stop outside cottage to Aberporth New quay near by Fabulous stay
Lovely, comfortable bungalow which was perfect for our needs, having an energetic cockerpoo and an elderly mother isnt an easy combination, however the bungalow was super, spotlessly clean and having a fully enclosed garden and a hot tub were real bonuses. Simple checkin and out and a very helpful owner who quickly posted back a phone charger wed left behind. Thank you for a super stay, have no hesitation in recommending.
Caroline
The cottage was perfect, the only issue for us was the comfort of the beds. If the beds had been a lot more comfortable our stay would have been 1010, maybe a better mattress or mattress topper would help.
Connor
A lovely stay from MonFri in February. Brilliant hot tub that maintained constant temperature even after a while in there! Lovely location for exploring midWales but also for walks on the doorstep.
Lovely cottage well equipped amd safe garden at the front for the dog. Well situated on the edge of the village with great pub, chip shop and shop nearby. The cottage was spotless through out and very comfortable. Lots of nice walks nearby and 5 mins away from the coast path. Thanks to the owners who welcomed us and live a stones throw away if needed. We will definitely stay again in the future. Dave Jill and frankie.
Sheena
Lovely cottage with all the facilities needed, clean and tidy with lots of space for a family. Village is a small but with a shop and butchers for essentials along with a fish and chip shop and pub. Garden fully enclosed separately front and back with a nice walk to the sea straight from the door so ideal for dogs. Would definitely recommend to others wanting a good base for exploring the coast and nearby towns.
Very well presented clean comfortable and well equipped will definitely be rebooking in the coming years
Absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped Couldnt ask for a better cottage
Christine
The accommodation had everything that you could wish for and more. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, warm and very spacious. The owners certainly go over and above to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. We received a nice welcome pack of wine and chocolates which was very kind of them. The cottage is well situated for Aberaeron, New Quay and Aberystwyth. Nearby Llancheron National trust is well worth a visit with its Georgian house, farm, walled gardens and lake.
Everything you could wish for was available. This was our first visit to a rental cottage, we have already booked our next trip. Would not hesitate in recommending Gyln cottage to anyone it was 1st class home from home.
The cottage was perfect everything you could possibly need and very clean ... The cottage was perfect everything you could possibly need and very clean enclosed garden owners very helpful regarding walks and any queries you might have hot tub an added bonus Already booked for next year
Excellent location for walking the coastal path from Aberystwyth to Aberporth. The hot tub was perfect after our walks. Fabulous accommodation and perfect for our two dogs. Great enclosed garden with lots of room for them to explore. The entry into the utility room was ideal to remove our muddy boots before going into the rest of the house. Well equipped kitchen and fast WiFi. Would recommend.
The cottage was everything that it said it was . It was well equipped ,super clean and very comfortable . I would highly recommend it for a weeks holiday .
Very spacious and clean rooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Good TV and Internet connection. Garden is well fenced to allow the dog to have a run around. Owner was friendly and courteous without being intrusive. Good location with footpaths from the door ten minutes walk to the coast and also some very good forest and beach walks within one hour drive radius. Will not hesitate to rebook when next in the area.
Amanda
We had a very comfortable stay at Glyn cottage. There was everything we needed for a home from home experience. Great shower and comfortable bed. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Good pub grub at the local pub, The white swan. There are lots of places to visit in the area and a lovely walk along the coastal path. There is a local convenience store and family butchers which was very handy. All in all a great relaxing holiday.
Vivienne
Staying at Glyn cottage was a perfect holiday. There were just a couple of very minor maintenance issues, which did not affect us, but I raised them with the property owner for the benefit of future guests. The cottage is spacious and was extremely clean. We couldn't believe the wide range of gadgets and supplies which were available to us. It was lovely to be left chocs and wine on our arrival. Beds were very comfortable and linen was lovely, Garden was secure for our elderly lab. He loved having a wander in the garden. The hot tub was a very welcome experience in the evenings after a days exploring. Have already recommended the cottage to other people and we would return in the future. Thankyou so much.
Sophie
We used the cottage as a base for visiting family in the area and it was perfect for us, our dog and our 7 month old baby. The cottage was so clean and they had made it very baby safe. The highchair and travel cot were fantastic. The cottage was super dog friendly, with enclosed garden to the front which was perfect. Our dog loved his stay especially the welcome treats on our arrival. We also enjoyed our welcome treats. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Very relaxing week in a superb bungalow. Spotlessly clean & everything we needed was there! The log burner & hot tub were amazing! Both were used every night. Local people were very friendly. Great pub & chip shop only 4minute walk. Great coastal walks. Devil's Bridge Falls are worth a visit....but, be warned, it is a very steep climb, up steps. New Quay is a beautiful, small seaside town. Would highly recommend this property.
After 30 years of staying at various holiday cottages this would be the top of the list for the obvious effort taken by the owners to make the time spent here so welcoming and enjoyable. Cannot fault the cleanliness or the amenities provided. So dog friendly and perfect location for privacy yet close to the village facilities. Locals are very friendly and welcome dogs. Highly recommend this holiday let without hesitation. Thank you so much Steve
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely cottage with all needed facilities provided. Great place to stay especially with a dog. The area is wonderful and great for country and coastal walks.
Glyn Cottage was a delight to visit. We were blown away at the facilities and the cleanliness was outstanding . It is very comfortable, and has everything you could need and more. It was a pleasure to meet the owners too, who are lovely people and live locally. I would happily recommend Glyn Cottage to anyone wanting a lovely break, and is centrally located for many trips out in the area.
Patricia
Clean and well equipped cottage. Great to have washer and dryer with everything provided. Brilliant location to explore from, with plenty to do and see. Local pub lovely with great food. Owners were very welcoming and quick to respond to any requests we made. Everyone really friendly and would not hesitate to recommend. Thankyou
Elizabeth
The directions on entering the town from Aberystwyth said the property was on the right, where in fact it was on the left which caused a few issues trying to find it as it's set back from the road. After 30mins of trying to find it we contacted the owner and then found it straight away.
Desmond
Cottage very well provided with everything required for a relaxed holiday. Directions to the property need to be more specific as cottage easy to miss we ended up going right through village and had to ring owners to guide us to the cottage. Cottage itself is very well equipped and spotlessly clean but entrance from road does not give a very good impression and could do with tidying up.
Brilliant little cottage in an ideal location. The hot tub is a bonus after visiting various places in the daytime what better way to relax in the evening.
The cottage was perfect for us in every way. Spotless and so well equipped. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Great secure garden for our dog. Well located for touring this area. Then return for a relax in the brilliant covered hot tub.We received a warm, friendly welcome from the owners. We have booked lots of cottages over the years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. We will definitely look to book again in the future.
Richard
We had a wonderful stay Glyn Cottage! Perfect location, clean, comfy, well equiped & modern cottage with everything you could need.We take our two large German Shepherd Dogs on holidays with us so a secure garden, spacious accomodation & plentiful walks nearby are essential. This cottage ticked all our boxes Great little pub dog friendly & convinience store a short walk away were an added bonus. Owners were lovely & put lots of care & attention into their cottage to meet guest requirements. So much to see & do in this area & when not out, the cottage & hot tub were great to relax in. We will be going back, one of the best we have stayed in we've had a lot during the last 4 years. Big thanks to Dave & Paula for this fab cottage!
