Meadowbank Lodge Reviews

Duncan
The best lodge we have ever stayed at. This was our fifth stay at one of Ali & John's lodges, but our first at Meadowbank. It was everything we expected and more and as always everything was well thought out and of course it was perfect for our dog and he loved it ! One or two of the items in the lodge are getting a bit tired, but that is being very picky and it in no way affected our enjoyment of our stay. We were very sorry to leave when the time came.
Stephen
We love this place. Great location for a fantastic holiday. The accommodation is very clean with an amazing with a lovely covered hot tub. Every thing you need for a relaxing time. Also the in closed garden is just brilliant for the dog. Thats why we have booked again for next year

Place was amazing even better than the photos, lovely touches also due to coming up to Christmas with the tree by the tv. Also lovely walk to New inn pub and hare and hounds and the use of the fully charged torch was a great help as its a very dark walk but nice walk. Facilities were brilliant, hot tub was great vent in the heavy rain due to the build cover. Cant recommend this place enough was an amazing stay for our anniversary and got to drive to some lovely villages like pocklington and Cottingham for the Christmas markets. Thanks for making our stay an amazing time.
Sandra

What a superb 5 night stay we have just had at the lodge and now its back to reality! Everything you need is there and a few extras for arrival treats thank you. Beds were fresh and comfy, good showers x2, very secure garden for our Daxies, plenty of private parking. The hot tub was super clean, heated ready to go on arrival. Groceries and take aways deliver to the lodge, village about a mile away. Wed definitely stay again if visiting Yorkshire again but wed need to book in advance as Im not surprised the 3 lodges are so popular!

We had an excellent stay at meadowbank lodge, the owners were very friendly and on hand if needed. The lodge and garden were huge with high quality furnishings and it was immaculate. The photographs really dont do it justice, its the best lodge weve ever stayed in and weve stayed in many. Very dog friendly with high secure fences. We would love to return in future to explore more of this beautiful area!

What an amazing place and spotless & has everything you need. So peaceful and tranquil and relaxing in the amazing hot tub. Plenty of space in the secure garden for our dog and daughter to play with. Travel swing ballbadminton set we took. Waking up to see rabbits and pheasants and even saw a dragon fly & owl. The lodge is an absolute credit to the owners Ali John & Sasha and thank you for lovely gifts you left for us and our dog too. The home made apple juice was out of this world delicious. Even bought some paintings done by Sascha & her ban & a light up bottle with butterflies on it. The tv was massive & a PS4 too in room and also tvs in both bedrooms. Will Definitely be back without a doubt. Best place We ever stayed in a little Sun trap With loads of room on balcony. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Ali John and Sascha Ps Sasha also can look after your dogs for a few if you want. Few hours alone amazing
