We had a wonderful weekend stay at Conquer Hall and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and beautifully maintained the property was. Every room was spotlessly clean, wellpresented, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail throughout the accommodation was evident and made us feel at home straight away. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It was exceptionally clean, perfectly maintained, and already warm when we wanted to use it, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the local area. The hosts had also provided clear and helpful instructions for everything we needed to know during our stay, which made the whole experience completely stressfree. We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome gift waiting for us on arrival. It was such a lovely gesture and added a personal touch that made our stay feel extra special. The location is fantastic as well. Powis Castle is only a short drive away and is a wonderful place to visit. The castle and its stunning gardens make for a beautiful walk and a great day out, adding even more to an already enjoyable weekend. Overall, Conquer Hall exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the spacious accommodation, immaculate cleanliness, excellent facilities, thoughtful hosting, and great location made for a perfect weekend break. We would not hesitate to return and would happily recommend it to family and friends.

This was a great place to meet up as a group of friends. Plenty of space, everything we needed in a beautiful setting. Comprehensive information for our arrival, and a host who was responsive and helpful without any intrusion. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Michael
The property is very well equipped and maintained, it is spotlessly clean, the hot tub is serviced daily and the refuse and recycling is clean and empty on arrival, with no need to put it out for collection, most unusual in a holiday cottage. It is well situated for exploring the underrated Montgomery area.
Lovely accommodation, great information from owner before our stay. Perfect for three generations , plenty of room and good for Grandad who uses a wheelchair and walking frame, maybe mention in the listing that there is a step down to the kitchen, but it wasn't a problem Outside space lovely too, I think we'll be back!
Joanne
We enjoyed our family get together at Conquer Hall, from start to finish. The property layout suited us very well. We appreciated the finishing touches of a welcome pack and the flowers. The property was clean and had everything we needed for the perfect weekend.
Lesley
Lovely house couldnt fault anything it was perfect and the surrounding areas were so picturesque. Thank you.
Conquer Hall was a beautiful home from home for myself and my grown up children to get together. It's set in beautiful surroundings and the inside was imaculately clean. The large kitchen was a great place for us all to gather and play board games, we brought our own but we didn't need to as there are a wide variety in the cottage for you to choose from. The host was exceptional, sending details beforehand, checking in through out to make sure everything was ok. He messaged the eve before we left to say we didn't need to rush of in the morning depart time 10am as the cottage was not let that day which was a bonus. The only recomendation I could offer is that the single oven in the property wasn't really suitible for catering for the 8 of us, 7 of which were adults. When booking the property I noticed the lovely range cooker and had planned to cook us a lovely family dinner. But were told before our arrival that the range is used for heatinghot water only. Fortunately there was a supermarket 5.4 miles away so we could shop for something more suitible to cook using the hobsingle oven instead.

Lovely, beautiful, comfortable cottage. Cosy and warm with lovely features and little touches to make us feel welcome. Stayed for a few nights and appreciated the teacoffeemilk and proseco! Hot tub was a lovely treat! Small thing a little more loo roll for 8 people please would have been super.
Lovely quiet place welcoming and well equipped for the 7 of us to enjoy a weekend to recharge our batteries everything was as advertised, clean and the cottage was obviously well maintained and looked after. Our thanks to Russell for keeping us informed in a way that was helpful, thoughtful and not intrusive.
Beautiful home, with everything you could need. Lovely gardens, and views to sit and look at, lovely and peaceful to relax. Hot tub is an added bonus, and much enjoyed whilst looking at the beautiful stars on a clear night.
Louise
We visited in mid August. The property was really lovely, and the host exceptionally welcoming and responsive but not at all intrusive. we arrived to a garden full of ripe plums and made plum crumble a couple of times, in the well equipped kitchen. The host supplied us with delicious eggs from their chickens through out the 2 weeks we stayed and left a lovely bunch of flowers as part of the welcome pack when we arrived. Really lovely house and host.
The property was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and located in beautiful countryside. It was perfect for our party of 6 adults and we appreciated the large kitchen table and outdoor furniture to sit out with a meal or drink. The walking leaflets were useful and there was a good stock of games and a jig saw for wet days. The generous supplies and fresh flowers on arrival were a lovely welcoming touch. I would certainly recommend this property.
We had a lovely week at Conquer hall. The cottage was clean, comfortable and in good condition. The garden was lovely, sunny with lots of room for the dogs to run around. The swings were a bonus. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots to explore. We had a trip to Powis Castle which was beautiful with wonderful gardens. We would definitely go back again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay 5 adults and 2 children. The cottage was as described and immaculate in every aspect. With beautiful views towards Montgomery Castle, it is well placed for visiting local attractions. Would definitely recommend!
Aleksandra
We loved our stay at the Conquer Hall. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has amazing views. Hot tub was a huge bonus, again very well maintained by Russell himself. Although we didn't get to meet him, we felt very well looked after. We were greeted with a lovely 'welcome pack', Russell checked in with us if we're ok and he was kind enough to let us stay longer on our last day so we could enjoy beautiful sunny weather. We couldn't hope for a better hendo get together!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay 5 adults and 2 children. The cottage was as described and immaculate in every aspect. With beautiful views towards Montgomery Castle, it is well placed for visiting local attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Conquer Hall is spotlessly clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. The surrounding area is very pleasant and quiet. Much attention is paid to detail to make your holiday enjoyable. The hot tub is serviced daily, the recycling is clear and the waste is disposed of by the owner, so that bins are empty on arrival, unlike many other cottages that we have stayed in. There were three generations of us staying in the cottage and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Carley
We stayed at Conquer Hall as a party of 7 adults, 3 children and a greyhound to celebrate my mother's retirement, and it was perfect in every way. The house is gorgeous, super well equipped, the garden with the swings and hot tub were a fantastic addition, and the views are just stunning. Russell was very easy to communicate with, and even even added stair gates and a cot to the house. We were offered early check in, and late check out due to Russell's schedule and we couldn't be more appreciative, especially members of our party with young children. In all, our weekend could not have been better, and we are so grateful to have celebrated a very special occasion in our family in this beautiful place. We will definitely be returning!
Elaine
2nd time at Conquer Hall, exactly as before, PERFECT, the setting, the cottage, the hot tub, nothing is too much trouble for the host, Russell. Welcome pack was fabulous. Would definitely recommend. This was a lovely property and perfect for a long winter weekend with friends. The property was warm and comfortable and in a beautiful location. We throughly enjoyed making use of the hot tub and then curling up in front of the fire to play some board games. The kitchen was excellent for cooking and the village of Montgomery is definitely worth an explore. We will definitely recommend Conquer Hall and wish to return in the future.

Came up for a family wedding. My son came early with his kids and partner. They got engaged in the hottub. There was plenty of room for everyone and we didn't feel squashed. A lovely time was had by all.

Nicholas
This has to be one of the nicest cottages we have stayed at and we have rented quite a number over the years. Our initial first impressions were very positive after seeing the very clean and comfortable beautiful property. We had a very nice welcome pack on arrival. The property has everything you need for a wonderful stay and is very tastefully furnished. The garden is great with very pleasant views surrounding it and we really enjoyed the superb hot tub which was very relaxing! All in all we had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it.
Elaine
Absolutely stunning from the pulling onto the drive, opening the front door, exploring the huge property. The eggs, coffee, milk, teabags, vase of flowers and bottle of Prosecco on arrival, those little touches were so appreciated. As a group of 5 ladies celebrating our friends 60th birthday, we couldnt have asked for anything better. So good weve booked a 4 night stay in February. Fabulous views, amazing hot tub, spotless property, with so much space. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH. If you want perfection, attention to detail, Conquer Hall is all you can ask for. Thank you Russell and family.
The pictures do not do this cottage justice the cottage is huge! Also there is a larger garden out back with a swing with room for a small football goal and badminton net if you are bringing children!. The bedroom layout is fab one of the double rooms is located at the end of the cottage with its own bathroom. Every drawer or cupboard is filled with useful information, board games and cards and the kitchen literally has everything you need to cook. The area is great for views, star gazing and the best local pub is the nags head! The owner is very approachable and there to help if you need it. Would definitely recommend!
Louise

Had a fantastic weekend at Conquer Hall. The cottage is very well fitted out with everything you need and very spacious. We had the most wonderful holiday in this cosy property. It was extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable! We absolutely loved the hot tub and relaxing in front of the log fire. The property had plenty of space for us all to enjoy and the children loved spending time in the garden. We would love to return. Russell was so attentive to our every need and we appreciated the welcome treats. The selection of games were also popular and kept the children entertained. Thank you for an amazing holiday!
