See Two Seas Reviews

Lindsey
Lorna was excellent with communication both before our arrival and throughout our stay, providing plenty of recommendations on places to visit and things to do, which helped us make the most of our holiday. The location is excellent, with the South West Coast Path right on the doorstep, and St Just is a lovely little town with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We stayed during a heatwave and were treated to some absolutely stunning sunsets. Cape Cornwall at sunset is a must, and we were surprised to discover its connection to our hometown through Heinz, which gifted the headland to the National Trust as part of its centenary celebrations. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard, both inside and out, and was a lovely place to stay. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of electric blinds. As the property enjoys sunshine throughout the day, the mezzanine level became very warm during the heatwave and was too hot for us to comfortably use for much of our stay. That said, this was during exceptionally hot weather and did not detract from what was otherwise a wonderful holiday.
Andrew
We had such a lovely stay here last week. The house is beautiful and really comfortable it felt more like staying in someones stylish home than a typical holiday let. Everything was spotless and really well thought out, and the openplan living space is perfect for unwinding. One of our favourite things about the house was the little mezzanine nook. It became our goto spot in the evenings to sit and watch the sunset over the sea . The location is amazing too. You feel completely tucked away in nature, and being able to walk straight onto the coast path or into St Just made it perfect for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. The host was also really friendly and welcoming, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for places to eat we tried a couple of them and they were spot on. We had a fantastic week and would absolutely love to come back.
We spent a fantastic week at See Two Seas for my Dads 70th! Lorna and Harvey were so friendly and communication was brilliant. The location was stunning and we went on some gorgeous walks. Bonus that you can walk into St Just as well Dad loved being able to get the paper every morning! Couple of trips out and would recommend a visit to the Minack Theatre and St Michaels Mount. The place itself was immaculate and well thought out. The fire was excellent and we all enjoyed sitting up on the mezzanine admiring the views. Wed all love to go back and would highly recommend.
Stayed at See Two Seas over the Xmas week. It was a fantastic stay. The Christmas tree was a very nice touch. The place itself was fantastic. Well perfectly laid out, comfortable and relaxing. It is well located with plenty of walks and amenities nearby. We had some slight issues with the heating, Lorna and Harvey were very responsive and quick to address the issue. Would definitely return!
William
What a delightful stay just before Christmas. The house is perfect extremely comfortable and well equipped. So much to do and see in the area. Fantastic scenery and great walking on the doorstep plus you can find pretty much everything you need in St Just. We found a couple of good places to eat, especially the Gurnard's Head. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would thoroughly recommend.
Sharon
Great late season holiday to celebrate two birthdays. The accommodation was excellent and perfect for coastal walks in and around Cape Cornwall. Lorna and Harvey have created a beautiful and very tastefully decorated home from home. The hot tub was lovely especially in the evenings we were very lucky to have great weather. Would thoroughly recommend See to Seas.
Claire
Fabulous house gorgeous quiet location. Everything you need in a home and more. Family holiday with 2 dogs and a baby . The sunsets i agree with previous reviews were spectacular. The garden is very safe for pets. Be aware of the beaches do your research as some have steep decents but well worth the visit.sennon cove beach is beautiful white sand clear water and lovely places to eat out. Gwyver beach is dog friendly all year unlike others. Cot valley is a little gem of a beach. Lorna and Harvey were such lovely hosts and really made you feel settled no strict rules very special. The walk across the fields into St Just is easy and its a lovely town. Hot tub gave the stay an extra touch .
Adrian
Excellent cottage and location. Gorgeous outlook to watch the Sun set into the sea. Perfect for a family with 3 generations to enjoy together. Dog friendly too. Owners are kind, helpful and considerate. Couldnt ask for more. Thank you.
The property was stunning very comfortable clean every facility you need views ... The property was stunning very comfortable clean every facility you need views beautiful gardens well maintained everything you need for a wonderful holiday
We have stayed in many properties around Cornwall and this is one of the most beautiful we have stayed in. The area was amazing for exploring. A short walk into St Just and lots of coastal walks and short drive to Penzance and surrounding areas. The property was beautiful and well maintained. Everything had been well thought out. The kitchen had everything we needed, we loved the views from the mezzanine levels. Bedrooms were comfortable and we loved the open plan kitchenloungedining area. The garden was a bonus and great for our dog and we used the hot tub every day. Lovely welcome basket of local produce which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owners Lorna and Harvey were incredibly welcoming and it was great to get some recommendations for where to eat locally and where the best coastal walks were. We were only disappointed that it was warm and we didnt need to use the log burner! We would definitely stay here again
This property is amazing, exactly as described. Everything you need is catered for. If I were to be really picky, cobwebs around ceilings, however, some of the ceilings are extremely high. I would still say, absolutely stunning.
Ashleigh
The most well equipped & beautifully done property we have ever stayed in. The underfloor heating was so cosy. Gorgeous views of the sea & loads of walks nearby. Perfect for a chilled weekend. The owners are lovely, provided so much information for our stay and really generous with changes & a little hamper on arrival.

Such a beautiful property and we will be returning We did lots of coastal ... Such a beautiful property and we will be returning We did lots of coastal walks directly from the property and easily walked across the field rather than driving to the local shoppub in St Just after walks with having a dog Stayed 2912 for a week and the weather has been amazing for us, seen many seasons but mostly warm and dry in the day The decoration is beautiful with attention to detail with lots of lovely additions making it feel homely The sea is viewable from the garden and the lookout lounge upstairs One of us used the hot tub twice which was ideal after 4 hour daily moderate walks and robes were provided There is lots of history here in Cape Cornwall and along the coastal paths and we love that Ventured to St Ives on a rainy day so wasnt there long but we prefer the isolation and quiet nature walks and this area is ideal as a base for both Perfect accommodating hosts Netflix, Prime and Freeview included Great boiler room and entrance which were both handy plus a massive log burner and underfloor heating Superb safe fully enclosed garden for dogs and children Appliances easy to work Fresh flowers and decorated for Christmas Beautiful quality hamper with quality staples plus extras which were really appreciated Thank you so much we loved it
Absolutely first class, stunning location, excellent hosts, we will be back
We have just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at See Two Seas. 6 adults, baby and 3 dogs such a lovely property and location would highly recommend it.
This holiday property is by far the best property we have ever stayed in. We stayed with our family for a special birthday, and the property made it so special. Every thing you may need is provided. All of the bedrooms were impeccably decorated and comfortable. The hot tub was a great feature and the bicycles were very good to use especially the tandem! The views from the mezzanine floor were incredible, and we saw some beautiful sunsets. I really really didn't want to leave. Thank you Lorna for your help during our stay. We'd love to return one day xxx
Great property and great location we loved it
Exceptional property comfortable, incredibly well equipped and high level of finish. Perfectly located to explore this end of Cornwall.
We loved staying at sea two seas, Lorna and Harvey were perfect hosts. They could not have done anymore for us and have created some wonderful memories for the family. The house position is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. From sun rises to sunsets and start gazing at night. There is everything a family could need for a fantastic holiday. We will certainly stay again in the future. Thank you both. Look forward to seeing you again.
Deborah

Wow! Spent two weeks here and what a stunning place. Location is beautiful magical views of the sea, so many things to do especially the stunning beach at sennen cove and a peaceful place with the amenities of town close by. The house is really lovely large bedrooms and bathrooms and a fabulous kitchen and garden. Hot tub extra bonus as was lovely kitchen facilities as well as the amazing wildflower meadows with views to the sea. Upstairs room with views to the sea and glorious sunsets capped off lovely long summer days. Superb hosts friendly and helpful. Just a fantastic luxury family break we want to go back next year!
Absolutely stunning property and the owners are so friendly, popping by to check we had all we needed and were enjoying our stay. I would definitely recommend See Two Seas as a holiday stay
Samantha
We have had a wonderful 4 days in this beautiful property. Maintained to a high standard. Owners have equipped the property with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely be going back.
We had a fantastic time with all three generations of our family for a week. The location is wonderful with proximity to all sections of the amazing coastline around which we spent most of the week walking. The hot tub was great with views over the lush gardens. Cooking facilities worked well for our group and we had everything we needed to eat in every night we then treated ourselves to either pasties or pub snacks with a pint at lunch! Great break thanks
My family and I had the privilege of staying at see to seas for a short midweek break. I also run multiple holiday lets so am very experienced host. I cant fault the stay, from beginning to end, the standard of the accommodation, location, cleanliness and generosity of the owners. We wanted for nothing throughout our stay and highly recommend this barn conversion to anyone wanting a chilled getaway in a great location. Thank you Lorna and family for creating such a wonderful listing.
The property was stunning and beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree. There were two hampers with fresh produce for us which was a lovely surprise. All of the rooms were better than expected, quality furnishings and fittings throughout. We couldn't use the garden as the weather wasn't good whilst we were there but there was everything you could need
Andrew
A fantastic holiday home in a beautiful setting. Hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful and kind.
A fantastic winter break at see two seas. Lorna and Harvey were wonderful hosts. Even had a chance to enjoy the hot tub with no light pollutions sky's. Sennen beach was beautiful with no tourists. Attention to detail and the comfort was beyond our expectations. The fire is amazing! Incredible view of the sea which meant we could stay in and just chill.
Natasha
It was such a beautiful place the decor and colours were just gorgeous. We loved how each room had its own theme. The weather was wild during our stay but it didnt matter as we were holed up in such a lovely place. Hosts were so helpful, there was a small problem with the bed and it was fixed straight away. Also amazing welcome pack! Perfect!
Joanne
We were a family of 5 ranging from 48 to 9 years plus a 3 year old labrador. We have stayed in many cottageslodges with hot tubs over the years in Scotland, Wales and England and this is, by a mile, hands down the best we have ever stayed in. The designer looking interior and the bikes, paddle boards and hot tub clearly show how much thought and effort has gone in to ensuring everyone has a fantastic holiday. The views and walks from the cottage are amazing and you could explore all day long. Tintagel Castle, Lands End and the Jamaica Inn are well worth a visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed our break and would love to return in the future.
Despite the heatbreaking reason for our visit, Lorna & Harvey made everything so much easier. To say they both went above & beyond is an understatement. The property itself is beautitul & extremely well kept! The attention to detail shines through & the views are amazing. The cleanliness is on point and I cannot fault a thing! Having access to the bikes made for an exciting experience taking in the spectacular views. Such a beautiful, stunning property in a truly special location. Lorna & Harvey we cannot thank you enough for being a light in our dark time. we will never forget all you did. We will definity return & of course go back to that special place we let our angel go. See you next year!
Andrew
Fabulous property, fabulous location and fabulous hosts. We have just returned as a family of 9 with a dog from See Two Seas and have had an amazing time in sunny Cornwall. The property was just perfect for our needs and Lorna and Harvey couldnt have been more helpful and attentive with some lovely personal touches which were above and beyond our expectations. We cant wait to return. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Highly Recommended.
This is an amazing house . We received a lovely welcome box from Lorna . The owners Lorna and Harvey are so friendly and helpful. The house is incredible, beautifully furnished throughout , lovely bifold doors by the kitchen , a snug upstairs with fab views of the sunset and a lovely garden area with outdoor eating, loungers chairs and a Big Green Egg BBQ . The area is stunning as you are a short walk from Cape Cornwall and the South West Coast path. We love St Just which has useful shops and cafes . A perfect stay.We would definitely recommend this house.
Very high standard property, owners have equipped the property with lovely touches and thoughtfulness, we felt very welcome from the start. Amenities were excellent and layout of property was excellent. Location is the best we have experienced in Cape Cornwall, walking distance to St.Just, Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall. Plenty of choice for those who like to eat out. Having stayed for holiday breaks in and around Cape Cornwall for over twenty years, See two Seas is far and away the best we have experienced. Thank you. John R
Jessica
The most beautiful property we have ever stayed in! Cant recommend it enough. The views, the location, the facilities, everything was amazing. Everything we could have wanted was provided and more and we had the best week ever staying here. The sea view is so relaxing to watch from the top floor too!
Location, location, location. ... exceptional property on a working farm run by a lovely family. We shared the week with Storm Noa, which was not ideal but great to look through the picture window and watch the wind and rain lash down. Easy, flat walk into St Just with nice cafes and a handful of pubs and virtually on the coast path so great walking and running our of the front door. Nice little garden area for the toddlerskids, but not used much because of Noa! Great hot tub, which WAS used despite the weather...! This is Cornwall! An excellent, well equipped and beautifully finished house... highly recommended
Fantastic property, just what we wanted. The owners were really friendly to even let us take the kids next door to see the herd of Devon cows also told us about them and the farm. Both the kids and adults really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
Our stay was beautiful from start to finish! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with lovely music and treat boxes, little chocolates on our pillows. The property has everything you could need for your stay aswell as having the option to use the bikes and paddleboards, just a really special place. Thank you for having us, we will be back.
Louise
Probably could do with another bathroomen suite. More hanging spaces in bedrooms. Kitchen area work surface could be bigger crockery could do with replacing. Other than those points property was lovely especially the reading area upstairs.
