The Coach House Reviews

Louisa
We had a lovely relaxing week at The Coach House. The cottage was small, but lovely. Set in a nice village with two pubs close by, both doing gorgeous food. Our favourite was The Crown. The cottage had everything, although a little outside bistro table and chairs, to have breakfastdinner on, would have been nice. The outside sofa was nice but really low, too low for my husband to use unfortunately. The hot tub was great and was cleaned regularly by the owners. Great communication by the owners too. Despite it being June we also had the fire on a couple of times which made it nice and cosy. The garden is really safe and secure for the dog. Bridgemere Garden Centre & show gardens are worth a visit and the village Tarporley was nice. Emma Bridgewater pottery is good too! Overall a great week away!!
We booked the coach house for 2 weeks and wished we could have stayed longer. It was the most relaxing break we have had in a long time. We could not fault the property at all. It was so cosy and warm with everything we needed. Going to bed at night was like a big warm hug. The beds were so comfy and the quilts and bedding were of a very high quality. A home baked lemon drizzle cake was waiting for us on arrival and it was soooo delicious. I cant find one yet to match it xx thank you xx Many thanks to Rebecca and her family for letting us stay in their lovely property xx
Myself and my partner had a lovely stay for his birthday. The cottage has everything to offer that youd need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to the property!

We enjoyed our week in the Coach House, but would have enjoyed it more if certain items of equipment and furniture had been provided, namely Kitchen Sieve, jug, egg cups Living room Upright chairs, brighter lighting Bathroom Shelf Bedrooms Table, chair, bedside table and light. We had to use the internet to find out how to use the microwave oven, and we never got the TV working.
Amazing cottage, cute, clean with all the comforts you need. The owners are onsite and responsive, but totally respect your privacy. The hot tub was fabulous, beds were comfy and there's a couple of pubs in walking distance although only 1 is dog friendly. Would not hesitate to come again.
We had a nice relaxing stay , property was clean and comfortable. The pub was close for evening meals and drinks.
Lovely property and very comfortable. A lovely peacful area and really enjoyed the hot tub. The local cake was a pleasant surprise. The beds, towels etc were excellent. A few more things in the kitchen would have been useful, e.g. additional crocery as there were only 3 teaplates between 4 of us and no scales or measuring jug. The main bedroom was great. For the second bedroom the sky light directly above the bed could do with a blind as very bright first thing in the morning if trying to sleep. Also the sliding door on the 2nd bedroom did not completely cover the door, so did not provide privacy for the occupants. MAy be worth putting up a larger door or a curtain above?

The cottage was beautiful we really enjoyed our stay, there was everything you could have possibly needed available and a very handy info booklet of what's around you to access for days out, food delivery or just a simple supermarket for necessities. The hosts where polite and friendly saw them on the grounds. The village itself was very scenic and lovely.
Derena
The property was lovely well equipped and we loved the lemon drizzle cake that was kindly left. We didn't think the cottage was secluded like it said as there is a very large house over looking the cottage, also needed some maintenance repairs to the lights, cooker fan and toilet. But we did have a lovely time very clean and lovely lady who owns the property.
Miriam
A brilliant house. Just big enough. We used everything the house had to offer including the washing machine, hot tub and EV charger. Everything we needed.
Robert
Had a lovely stay here with my partner and our two dogs, it was very clean and perfect. The hot tub was great and the cottage was so lovely. We spent a night at the local pub for some food and drinks, which was a short walk. We would highly recommend.
Simply perfect! Beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you would want or need, gorgeous surroundings, hot tub is amazing, easy access to many places but the icing on the cake is walking distance to two brilliant pubs! Cannot recommend this place enough, we didn't want to leave and will definitely be back again!
Lovely little cottage, very comfortable and wellequipped. We chose the location as a base for sightseeing and it proved to be a good choice. The EV charger was a blessing and the hot tub a treat. The hosts were very helpful both before and during our visit, striking a good balance between availability and giving us privacy. Pros quiet yet accessible, hub for daytrips, great wifi, well equipped Cons cant think of any!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Coach House. The property is clean, has everything you are likely to need, the hot tub is a luxurious and much enjoyed extra, the location is peaceful and quiet and the local pub is a few minutes walk away. A great place to stay.
We had a lovely stay. .everything we needed and more
Nicola
We had a fantastic few days away. The cottage was very clean & comfortable and the owners were both very welcoming and friendly, including leaving us a very tasty lemon drizzle cake for our arrival. The village where the property is situated was pretty and quiet with good places to eat out very local. The enclosed garden was also perfect for our two dogs.
Stephen
We found it to be a fantastic cosy little cottage in very peaceful surroundings. Clean and well kept inside and outside with everything you need to hand inside. Private parking literally beside the property with a Type 2 charger. Private garden to rear with hot tub which we never used just down to the fact we were cosy inside. There's a very large garden to one side which is good for walking the dog if you don't want to venture further afield. We did venture out and found two pubs literally a 5 to 10 min walk, both great for food and beers. A nice touch was the lemon drizzle cake we found upon arrival but even better was the teapot with cosy we discovered tucked away. We never supped so much tea. I thoroughly recommend The Coach House.
Yvonne
Beautiful cottage which was spotlessly clean, hot tub brilliant, wood burning stove was so nice, welcome cake was much appreciated, there are 2 excellent pubs within walking distance, would highly recommend this special cottage.
Gillian
Lovely location and facilities.
We had such a wonderful stay in the coach house. Being from the area, we came to see friends and, with our baby and dog, felt our own place for a long weekend was necessary and Im thrilled we found this cottage. We met one of the owners and he was super helpful and very pleasant. The cottage itself is superb, cosy and well equipped. We had to take both our cars for logistics and there was ample space. Very happy
BOOK IT!! Truly one of the most wholesome, beautiful stays weve ever had . We booked The Coach House over Christmas & Boxing Day and we made some very special memories as a family. The cottage is the perfect size for cosy vibes and relaxation. It had everything you could need and the owners couldnt do enough for us. The surrounding area is stunning, beautiful countryside, homes & cosy pubs. Everything was spotless, the hot tub was amazing and super clean and the beds very comfy! We would LOVE to return again sometime. Thank you so much! Xxx
A lovely, cosy cottage thats well equipped.
This is 1010. Clean as a whistle little cottage. Stayed here with my husband and two large dogs. One of my dogs is reactive so the enclosed garden is ideal and secure rare find . Five days of relaxation and everything you could possibly need in the cottage. I made a couple of roast dinners and a cake and had everything at hand like you would at home! Rebecca and Dom are within reach if anything is needed but totally respect your privacy. I honestly can not recommend this place enough. Lovely pubs very short walking distance and some amazing walks for the doggies
Beautiful cottage in a lovely area, lots of lovely pubs close by. All the facilities were perfect for a relaxing weekend. The hosts were also lovely and really helpful! Would definitely recommend.
Libbie
We had an incredible stay, the coach house is gorgeous. The decor is incredible and we absolutely loved the hot tub. Made for an amazing weekend celebrating my boyfriends birthday. The hosts were fabulous, really helpful, welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely return here and recommend to anyone visiting the area. Location was perfect for the purpose of our stay. No complaints from us! Thanks again.
Louise
Beautiful home from home, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything you need for a wonderful stay and just tranquil. Lovely garden complete with hot tub for a wonderful relaxing time. As a busy couple with a dog this was just what we needed to unwind and recharge. Can highly recommend and would definitely book to stay again.
The cottage was lovely it was beautiful inside and outside. The area was lovely very picturesque. The Crown Inn was absolutely fabulous great food lovely people and it was only a few minutes walk away. The owners were very friendly not that we saw them much because we had no problems at all with the cottage but it was good to know they were close by. The only thing I could say that could improve the property would be some sort of canopy over the hot tub incase of rain and a step to get in and out of the hot tub. Would definitely come back again loved it.
Stephen
We stayed at this coach house with our two children and dog border terrier it was amazing we loved it. Hot tub was fantastic, both beds so comfortable every thing you need is at this property down to wardrobes, coat hangers, toilet rolls, cleaning products, hoover etc. Just need to take toiletries and food. Its a perfect size and beautiful getaway to chill go on walks lovely pubs in walking distance The hand and trumpet was fab. We will definitely return again owners are lovely even had a cake
The Coach House is a lovely little cottage, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the hot tub and the enclosed garden was perfect for our 2 small dogs.
Valdis
We got more than expected. Perfect little holiday
Wow! What a beautiful property, so well maintained and a perfect get away for me and my partner to escape from our very busy working lives. Very accommodating for bringing the dog with us too with a perfect garden area. Well equipped kitchen and even a cake on arrival. Rebecca messaged me personally a few days before to ensure I had all the information I needed to find the property and make things as easy as possible. Was extremely helpful whenever questions asked and even was kind enough to give us recommendations for local pubs, the basket on the table with all local information was such a lovely touch too. Absolutely no compliments, beautiful hosts, stunning cottage and perfect location for a romantic & very relaxing weekend away, we are just gutted we didn't book for longer. We will be back x
Michael

Really nice, peaceful and quiet place, good local restaurants. Great base to see the surrounding area. Good hosts.
A lovely place to stay. Hosts were very welcoming and the lemon drizzle cake went down a treat. Enjoyed the hot tub. Great base for places to visit. Would definitely come back again.

Lovely little cottage. Plenty of room for me and my husband on a little child free couple of nights away. Everything was provided for you in the cottage. The hot tub outside was fab. Was lovely at night under the stars. The owners were lovely very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of walks to do and quite a few pubs in the area to eat. We will definitely return at some point.
